In addition to reading license plates (including legitimate and illegitimate paper plates), the Smart Gate Platform can read logos, printed numbers and letters—and even handwriting.
In addition, the Smart Gate Platform can be programmed to distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable behaviors; identified threats or questionable activity triggers alarms that direct human intervention. Unlike conventional OCR technology, the Smart Gate Platform cannot be deterred by unexpected number locations, weather, or physical damage to vehicles and/or cargo containers.
