Privacy Policy – Immix Helper

Immix Helper (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension developed by ECAM for internal operational use.
This Privacy Policy describes how the Extension handles user data in accordance with Chrome Web Store policies.
1. Data Collection
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data or user information.
Specifically, the Extension does NOT:
- Collect personally identifiable information (PII)
- Track browsing activity outside of supported domains
- Capture or store authentication credentials (username / password)
- Transmit data to external servers or third parties
2. Data Usage
Because no data is collected, no user data is used, processed, or analyzed.
3. Data Sharing
The Extension does not share any user data with third parties, as no data is collected or transmitted.
4. Data Storage
The Extension may use Chrome’s local storage API (chrome.storage) only for temporary configuration or state management.
- All data remains local to the user’s browser
- No data is transmitted externally
- No persistent personal data is stored
5. Permissions Justification
The Extension requests the following permissions strictly to enable core functionality:
| storage | Used to store local extension settings or UI state within the browser. No personal data is stored. |
| tabs | Used to interact with and update browser tabs related to supported internal platforms. |
| notifications | Used to display system or workflow notifications to the user within the browser. |
| downloads | Used to trigger file downloads initiated by the user as part of extension functionality. No files are uploaded or transmitted externally. |
| sidePanel | Used to display the extension interface within Chrome’s side panel. |
6. Host Permissions
The Extension operates only on explicitly defined domains required for internal workflows, including:
- immix.calibercommunications.ca/*
- immixweb.stealthmonitoring.com
- monitoring.ecam.garda.com
- *.stealthmonitoring.net
- www.google.com/maps
The Extension does not access or interact with other websites.
7. Internal Use Only
This Extension is:
- Unlisted in the Chrome Web Store
- Intended strictly for internal organizational use
- Not distributed to the general public
8. Data Security
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of external data exposure through this Extension.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be reflected at the policy URL.
