According to current Toronto MLS® numbers, the average home price for the Toronto area is nearly $1.1 million. This is putting the dream of home ownership out of reach for many low-income families. The affordability crisis emphasizes the need for initiatives that provide affordable housing solutions.
Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity GTA has worked tirelessly to build affordable, inclusive communities, helping over 500 families achieve financial independence through homeownership. Last year alone, over 3,900 volunteers dedicated more than 100,000 hours to support this cause.
