ECAM’s Ongoing Commitment to Habitat for Humanity
This year marks a significant milestone. It’s our 18th consecutive year of support for Habitat GTA. In 2025, we contributed another $10,000 donation, reaffirming our long-term commitment to their vision of building homes and communities that promote stability and opportunity.
But our contribution goes beyond financial support. ECAM employees regularly volunteer on Habitat build sites, working side by side with families to bring safe, affordable housing to life. Additionally, through our security expertise, we provide customized protection solutions for construction sites, helping ensure these critical projects can move forward safely and without disruption. It’s a partnership that blends ECAM’s strengths with Habitat’s mission to deliver real impact where it matters most.
The Impact of Habitat GTA
Habitat GTA’s work is transforming lives. Their 2024 achievements speak volumes about the power of community collaboration:
- Over 150 people, including 70 children, moved into Habitat homes.
- More than 2,900 volunteers dedicated over 100,000 hours to building stronger neighborhoods.
- For every $1 invested in Habitat homes, $4 is returned to the community in social and economic benefits.
These figures highlight the crucial role of affordable housing. It encompasses not just physical structures, but also the creation of lasting positive changes for families, children, and the entire community.
