Located in the Platinum Triangle neighborhood of Anaheim, California, Core sits in a highly coveted and competitive market.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:3%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column customer-logo is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:30%\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"152\" height=\"57\" src=\"https:\/\/ecam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/core-apartments-logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24531\" style=\"object-fit:cover;width:212px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/core-apartments-logo.png 152w, https:\/\/ecam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/core-apartments-logo-150x57.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 152px) 100vw, 152px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge for Core Apartments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns cols-tablet-space-between is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column form-overflow-content-col is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Core Apartments faced security challenges in their parking garage: break-ins, vandalism, and slow, inconsistent police responses.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Security at multifamily residential communities is always a priority, but for the managers at Core, the need was accentuated by the surrounding community\u2019s significant homelessness issues as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of cities in Orange County, California- a county with an overarching homelessness issue- Anaheim has the highest homeless population.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metro area experiences an alarmingly high auto theft rate, making residents and property management alike acutely aware of issues in Core\u2019s multi-level parking garage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;With these higher-than-average concerns factoring into security needs, it was imperative that a security solution for Core be able to deter and disperse criminal and other unwanted activity around the property, but particularly in and around the parking facilities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:3%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How ECAM Helped Resolve Core Apartment\u2019s Biggest Concerns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>With more problems in the parking garage than anywhere else on the property, ECAM focused first on getting full coverage and eliminating blind spots on every level<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For comprehensive coverage of Core\u2019s primary hotspots, we recommended a customized camera and monitoring layout to meet their specific needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This included cameras, <a href=\"https:\/\/ecam.com\/en-ca\/solutions\/live-video-monitoring-and-surveillance\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"341\">live video monitoring<\/a>, and audio deterrent speakers, in a layout that allowed for effective coverage of the 650-foot-long garage.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECAM\u2019s recommendation was to add multiple new cameras for each garage level, along with multiple new audio deterrent speakers, as well as incorporating existing cameras onsite into the solution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group success-story-highlighted-text\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote customer-success-story-quote-block is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>ECAM has helped reduce the amount of criminal activity in our garage significantly by sounding the alarms and contacting the police before further crimes can occur.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Noelle Phillips<\/strong><br>Senior Community Manager, Core Apartments<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The ECAM Difference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reduction in costs thanks to reduced need for onsite guards, improved police responses, and multiple apprehensions.\u202f<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By incorporating ECAM\u2019s real-time surveillance and monitoring, Core Apartments has seen security results significantly improved. Onsite security guards were cut back, with ECAM\u2019s industry-specialized in-house remote monitoring filling the gaps and allowing for faster, more consistent responses from local law enforcement- making this one of ECAM\u2019s highest performing sites in the West when it comes to activity, dispatches, apprehensions, and crimes deterred.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI really do feel like this property is a classic example of police department response improving with the implementation of our remote monitoring and surveillance, especially after we got one of those early apprehensions,\u201d says Brandon Koepnick, Regional Vice President of Sales- West at ECAM. \u201cAccording to data from the first six months of implementation, when illegal activity at Core was observed by ECAM and
